Yr. W. W. King requested the Council to grant him a.
permit to build a residence, store and church on his lots in
East Okeeohobee and same was granted.
, Mr. J. D. ~oCarthy appeared before the Council and statãd

that he would furnish the labor if the Counoil would furnish
the pipe to faY a water main from the west side of b1ook 137 to
b1ook'138, and Oounoi1 agreed to furn~sh pipe if City has suf-
. fioient pipe on hand to lay said main.
'Mr. D. R. KoNei1l requested the Oounoi1 to have bill
drawn to amend the 01t' Charter relative to poll tax qua1ifi-
-cation of votsrs, and the City Attorney was instructed to dr~.

" bill and,present same to Oounoi1 for approval at next regular
meeting.
Communication ~as received from the Bank of Okeeoho-
bee relative to the payment of Time Warrants,whioh mature April
1st., 1923.
Communication was reoe1ve~ from tþe Peoples ~ank re-
questing the Council to designate said Bank a City Depository.
Motion was made by Oounoi1man Hampton seconded by

. Councilman Berka that the Peoples Bank be designated as aò.e-
pository for the funds òf the City of OËeeohobee. Motion oar-
ried.

President DeYarman stated that the Woman's Club had
appointed Mrs. H. H. DeYarman and the Chamber of Commerce had
appointed' Mr. F. E. Henderson as members of the Park Improvement
Committee, and he appointed Councilman Albert Berka to serve,as
a mtmber of this oommitte~. Said committee to have superv~sion
" of the improvements made in theOi ty Park";.,,..
