Pursuaut to advertisement and. notice of Street Improvement Assessment
and affidavit of publication being filed With the Clerk, the City
Council met in 8pijcialsession this ~~lid day of August, I~B2'at the
hour of 1 o'cloc.K.;for the purpose of hearing complaints or objections,

Objections were. filed by L. L. Wi.ngate, stating the frontage of
Lot 12, Bleck 14~ is 34 feet instead uf 50 feet as assessed.
General protest and ogjections were fi~ed in unison by Mr. E. R.
Wright and Mr. G. W. Freese, against ,the assess.ment on certain
lots in E.st Okeechobee, but no't described.
The City Couacil, after due consideration, being satisfied that the
assessments are correct and tllat same WOUl.d not exceed one-third
~he entire cost 01 the paving, on motion of H. C. Adams, Be6onded
'by R. E. .McLaug.hlin., it was unanimously' agreed that the assessments
be allowed to stand.
Written objections having been filed þy L. L. Wingate as ~o paving
asseSSment on lot LG, BloCK 14;1, claindng that there is only 34 feet
frontage on North ParK Street" instead of 50 faat as assessed.

After due consideration thereof the Cit~ Council ~eing of the
opinion that the 34 feet is the correct frontage, motion was lliade
by CouncilllJan. H. C. Adams, ana Iucom;led by Councilman O. o. Davis,
that the Lien as heretofore filed on þis lot is hereby reconsidered
and. reduced to 34 feet fronta.ge, and the Ci ty ClerK is hereby.

Mr. Peter Raulerson appeared before. the Council in r.~d to his
assessments, and thè Ci~y being unable to render any ~~, which
was very mucn regretteci, tne assessme.ç¡.tli being correct vn motion,
of H. C. Adams and seconded by O. O. Da!is, anei unanimqusly carried,
the BarIle is allowed to stand as made.
