session this 10th day of May, 1921 pu~suant to a call issued by
the Mayor, ~or the pu»pose of receiving and opening bids for the
sale and purchase of City of Okeechobee, Flo~ida Sp:reet-Paving
Tiae Warrants, and for the pur,pose of ;Fecei ving and opening bids
for the sale and purchase of City of Okeeohobee, Florida Wate~ and
Sewer Tiae Warrants with the following members of the Council

The minutes of April 26th, May ~th and May 6th, 1921 were'read and
approved aa read. ' '
)lotion was made by Councilman O.O.Davis, seconded by Councilman
H. C. Adams that Mr. J. E. Nash's bill for digging gutters or ditches
'be paid, after being audi ted and found oorreot. Motion carried
unanimously.
Motion was.ade by Councilman O.O.DaTis and seconded by Councilman
H.C.Adams, that the bill of J. E. Naah for use of his truck be paid
after being audited. Carried unaniaously.
Motion was made by Councilman Underhill, seconded by Counoi1man
Davis that all other bills aa presented by the Clerk be paid.

On motion made by Councilman Davis, andseoonded by Counoi1-
man McLaughlin, that the Cle~k request the Southern Utilities Co.
to put in about four stJPeet lights in colored town where most aeeded,
ana suggest one placed at t he corner of Chokaloskee st. and lr5th
Street.. Chokaloskee and Sixteenth S~e et, Chokaloskee and S'even-
teenth S.t:reets and at Tuscaloosa and Fifteenth st:reets. Motion
carried unanimously.
Councilman MoLaughlinmoved that the Clerk :request the Southern
utilities Compaay to extend the street lights in East Okeeohobee
to a point opposite R. E. McLaughlin's residence. Seconded by
Cpunoilman Davis and carried unanimously.

of the North P~k street Bridge across Taylor's Creek, doing the job

Councilman McLaughlin moved that the M~or of ~he City Council issue
a Proolaimation for a Clean-up-day on June l-ith. Motion was seconde '
by Counoi1man Davis .and carried unanimously.
