The City Oouncil of the Oity of Okeechobee, Florida, 'met in regular
session at 8:00 P.M, on the above date with the following present: Mayor H. H. I
Raulerson, President W. R. Page, Councilmen J. M. Roe, S. R. Raifsnider, O. L.
Raulerson, I. N. MoMullen, Alma Gross, City Olerk, R. O. Evans, Chief of Police,
N. o. stewart, FireOhief, and O. O. McOain, Water Supt.
Minutes of the meeting held September 8 were read and approved as read.
The following bills were approved and ordered paid when funds are

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNOIL or THE CITY
OF OICEEOHOBEE, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Mayor of the City of Okeechobee shall
receive a salary of $50.00 per annum beginning on the first
Monday in January, A. D. 194-3 for two years thereafter.
Section 2. The City Clerk and Assessor of Taxes of the
0ity of Okeechobee shall receive a salary of $125.00 per month
payable in equal monthly installments, beginning on the first
Monday in January, A. D. 1943, for two years thereafter.
Section 3. Each member of the City Council shall
receive the sum of $120.00 per annum, payable in equal monthly

Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect on the
first Monday in January, A. D. 1943. .
Section 5. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in

inconsistant with the laws of the State of Florida, and

candidates seeking election in the General City Election to be
. held on the 1st day of December, A. D. 1942.

Upon motion duly seconded and carried, each to be paid .5.00 for their services.

The President of the Council stated that Mr. E. W. Jackson of Thomas M.
Oook & Company, Fiscal Agents of the City, was present and requested Mr. Jackson to
give a report on progress of rofund~ng the Bonded Indebtedness of the City. Mr.
Jackson gave a full report.
Oouncilman Raifsnider moved that leases on Sign space be renewed. Motion
seconded by Councilman Roe and carried.
There being no further business the Oouncil adjourned to meet Friday,
