The City Council of the City of Okeechobee, Florida, met in adjourned c=)
regular session at 7:30 on the above da.te with the following present: Jiayor H. H.
Raulerson, W. R. Page, President of the 'Oounoil, Councilmen Boe, Raifsnider,
McMullen and Raulerson, Alma Sherman, City Clerk, T. W. Conely, City Attorney,
-Chief of Police Evans and Fire Chief Stewart.
Upon motion of Councilman Raulerson, seconded by Councilman Roe and carriee,
four flood lights De to be erected at City Water Plant, also a fence built around
the plant.
Upon motion by Councilman Raifsnider, seconded by Councilman McMullen and -

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE KAYOR AND THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OICEECHOBEE, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1.
That Section 29 of Ordinance #gg of the City of Okee-
chobee, Florida, be amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. - RATES AND OHARGES: The rates of water to the
consumers of okeechobee, Florida, shall be classified according
to the following schedules:
Where no meter is installed a flat rate of 81.50 for
each fixture or spigot; where a hot ,and cold tap are placed in
one plumbing fixture, such arrangement shall be considered one
opening.
Where meters are placed the minimum rate shall be ~1~50
per month, the minimum rate being defined as 3,000 gallons, the
sliding scale being as follows: For the next 25,000 gallons the
rates shall be 30Ø per thousand and in excess to 30,000 gallons
shall be at the rate of 20Ø per thousand gallons.
I Where there is more than one house connected with one
meter, each house shall pay the minimum rate of $1.50 per month
. . and each such houses shall be allowed three thousand gallons for
. said minimum rate; allover 3,000 gallons for each housesh~l b~
at the rate of 30Ø per thousand gallons up to 30,000 gallons and,
in excess of said thirty thousand gallons for eaohhouse shall be
at the rate of 20Ø per thousand. gallons."
-- SECTION 2.
Upon non-payment of water bills by the ,fifteenth of
each month water wlll be immediately disconnected.
SECTION 3.

This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon
