session at the City Hall on the above date at 7:30 P. M. and the following were
present: Mayor H. H. Raulerson, W. R. ~age, President of the Council, Councilmen
Raifsnider, Roe, McMullen and Raulerson with Alma Sherman, City Clerk, T. W. Conely,
Jr., City Attorney, N. O. Stewart, Fire Chief and C. O. McOain, Water Supt. in
attendance.
Minutes of the meetings held April 7,9, 17 and May 1 were read and adopte
as read.
The Street Committee reported that it was necessary to purchase a truck
for municipal purposes for the sum of $385.00, and requested the Cowlcil to approve 4IÞ
of said purchase.

the action of the Committee was approved.
Upon motion of Councilman Roe, seconded by Councilman McMullen and carried
the purchase of a Lawn Mower for City Parks was authorized.
Upon motion by OoLmcilmun Raifsnider, seconded by Councilman Raulerson and
carried, the ptœchase of 30 tons of filter sand was authorized.

FOR THE DISCONTINUANCE OF SEVEN (7) 75 WATT,
WHITEWAY UNDERGROUND, CITY OWNED STREET LIGHTS,
AND FURTHER PROVIDING FOR THE REOONDITIONING OF
PABT OF THE CITY'S WHITE WAY UNDERGROUND STREET
LIGHTING SYSTEM AT THE EXPENSE OF THE CITY, AND
SETTING OUT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH
