The City Oo~cil of the City of ~eeooobøø, Florida; met in røØu I
session at the City Hall a:t 8:00 P" M.' on the above date and the following were
present: Mayor H. H. Rau1erson,W. R. Page, Pres1'dent of CounCil, Councilmen
Raifsnider, Roe and Raulerson, with cAlma Sherman, City Clerk, T. W. Conely, Jr.,
City ~ttorney, R. C. Evans, Chief of police, C. O. McOain, Water Supt., and
N. O. Stewart in attendance.
Minutes of meetings held January 6th., 9th., 16th., 23rd., were read
and adopted as read.
Water Supt. McOain reported on condition of filter at Water Plant.
R. O. Evans appeared before the Council and stated that he was indebted J.
to the City in the sum of $30.30 for water to January 1, 19~1, and that City was

rendered during the months April and May, 1940, as Special police, that if the
Oi ty would ,cancel the account against him he would cancel his claim against Oi ty.
U~on motion of Councilman Raifsnider, seconded by Councilman Roe and
carried, the offer of Mr. Evans was accepted, and the City Clerk was instructed
to cancel said account.

and carried, that City Attorney be authorized to purchase for the City of Okee-

The City Council of the City of Okeochobeo) Florida, met in regular ad- .
journed session at the City Hall at (5;00 P.M.. on thQ'~above date and tho following
were present: Mayor H. H. Raulerson, W. R. Page, President of City Council,
Councilmen Roe, McMullen and Raifsnider, with Alma Sherman, City Clerk, T. W.
Conely, Jr., City Attorney, R. C. Evans, Chief of Police and N. O. Stewart, Fire
Chief in attendance.
Mr. Morise Thomas appeared before the Council and presented a claim
against the City in the amolmt of $75.00 and stated that he was indebted to the
City for water in the amount of $34.92. and stated that inasmuch as the City was ,..."
in financial distress he offered to cancel his claim provided the City would .
satisfy their claim against him. Upon motion of ColUlcilman Raifanider, seconded
by Councilman Roe and carried, the offer was accepted and the City Clerk was
instructed to cancel the claim against Mr. Thomas for water.
