The City Council of the City of Okeeohobee, Florida, met in regular
session at the City Hall at 4:00 P. M. on the above date and the following were .
present: H. H. RaulersoA, President of City Council; Councilmen Culbreth, S.ain
and Hunt, with Alto Watford, City Clerk and N. O. Stewart, Fire Chief in attendance.
Motion was made by Councilman Hunt, duly seconded and. carried, that the
Council sit as a board of canvaesors for the purpose of canvassing the returns of

WHEREAS, the City Council oi'the City of Okeechobee,
Florida, sitting as a board of canvassors, has canvassed the
returns of the General City E1Gction held December 3,1940, and
WHEREAS, H. H. Raulerson received the highest number

of votes for Kayar, and W. R. Page, J. M. Roe, Sr., O. L. Raulerson,
S. R. Raifsnider and I. N. McMullen received the highest number of
votes for Councilmen and Alma Sherman received the highest number of
votes for City Clerk.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that H. H. Raulerson be,
and he is hereby declared elected Kayar, that W. R. Page, J. M. Roe, Sr.,
O. L. Raulerson, S. R. Raifsnider and I. N. MoMullen be, and they are
hereby declared elected Councilmen, that Alma. Sherman be, and she is
" hereby declared elected City Clerk.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be, and he is
4IÞ hereby instructed to issue and deliver certificates of election to
each of the above persons.

President Raulerson read to the Council a letter from Mr. A. S. Clark
of Melbo~ne, Florida, regarding a complete audit of the City books. After this
matter was discussed motion was made by OouncilmanHunt, duly seconded and carried
to accept the terms of Mr. Clark, as stated in his letter, and have a. oomplete
audit made. The City Clerk was then instructed to notify Mr. Clark that ,the City
wanted him to make this audit.
Motion was made by Councilman Culbreth, duly seconded and carried. to
hold regular meetings of the City Council on Monday nights, first MÅ“nday in each
month, at 7:30 o'clock.
Upon motion by Councilman Hunt, duly seconded and carried, Council adjour d.
