Special Exception - 418 N.W. 3rd. Street Beauty Shop MEETING STANDARDS OF 253-2 a. Location site appropriate for use. Complex has had previous beauty shops and have caused no problems. There is an existing Beauty Shop on the same block just West ofthe proposed shop. It is a needed service and will be a benefit to the citizens. b. Compatible with adjacent uses and the neighborhood. The building has been in place for many years, this is not a new structure. It is well maintained and a good tax revenue for the city. c. Screening. This business will be inside and existing enclosed space and would not require any screerung. d. Hazards, problems or public nuisance that may be created. Do not foresee any being created if in compliance with city and state codes. e. Utilities and services met. All are in service in building: OUA, FPL, Waste Management. f. Traffic impact. The beauty shop will be mainly by appointment only and there will be only two stations. It would allow for a walk in hair cut making three customers a maximum estimated. There is on street parking and approximately seven spaces on the West end of the building.
