RE: Special Exception for First Baptist Church of Okeechobee, Inc.
Dear Board Members:
This letter is to inform you of our interest in the subject property, Lots 5,6,7,8,9 and 10,
Block 182, City of Okeechobee. We own the property and intend to use the property for
storage of our miscellaneous supplies. A small portion of the proposed structure will be
allocated for our Mission House to be able to expand and allow us to reach many needed
families within our community.
The reason for the request is that this project is considered a customary accessory use to a
House of Worship on a lot less than five acres in a Residential Multiple Family (RMF) zoning
district. We are planning the construction and to complete this process a special exception is
necessary.

Instructions:
1. The sign must be posted on the subject property.
2. The sign must be posted prominently.
3. The sign must be visible from the most traveled street adjacent the subject property.
4. There is no specific height requirement, provided that the sign can easily be seen

5. The sign must be posted beginning 15 days (not including Sundays) prior to the
public hearing and must be posted continuously during this time. If a second public
hearing is required before the City Council the sign must remain posted until that
