NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR SPECIAL EXCEPTIO
NOTICE is hereby given that and Appeals of
the City of Okeechobee, Florida, a municipal cor will consider
a request for a special exception on the fo110win described real property,
situate, lying and being within the corporate 1ini s of the City of Okeechobee,
Florida, to-wit:
Parcel B:
Beginning at the SouthWest corner of the inte section of the West Line
of Okeechobee Avenue and the South line of So th Park Street, accord-
ing to the plat of Okeechobee, recorded in P1 t Book 5, Page 5 of the
Public Records of Okeechobee County, Florida, for P.O.B.; thence South on
West line of Okeechobee Avenue, 1040 feet to he Northwest corner of the
intersection of the North line of Fifth Avenu and the West line of Okee-
chobee Avenue, as shown on plat of Okeechobee recorded in Plat Book 5,
page 5 of the Public Records of Okeechobee Co nty, Florida; thence West
on the North line of Fifth Avenue, 210 feet, re Gr1ess, to a point;
said point being located 20 feet East of the resent center line of the
former Florida East Coast Railway, East Team rack Number 5, (as shown
on Railway right-of-way blue prints now on fi1 in the office of the
Clerk of Circuit Court of Okeechobee County,F1 rida); thence Northerly on
said line for a distance of 1043 feet, more 0 less, to the intersection
of the South line of South Park Street; thence East on the South line of
South Park street to the P.O.B. LESS AND EXCEP that parcel of land that
would constitute the right of way of S.W. 2nd treet, if extended, lying
west of the right of way of S.vl. Rth Avenue and east of the right of way
of the former Florida East Coast Railway East eam Track Number 5 ( as shown
on Railway Right-of-way blue prints now on fi1 in the o-fice of the Clerk
of the Circuit Court of Okeechobee County, F1 rida); AND ALSOLESS AND
EXCEPT lands conveyed to Group Three Investmen Company, by deed recorded
in Official Records Book 243, page 1933 of the Public Records of Okeechobee
County, Florida.
Granting of the request for special excep would allow a propane
gas bulk plant on the property. A Public hearing i relation thereto will
be held at 7:00 P.M. on the 7th , in the City Council
Room, City Hall, Okeechobee, Florida, at which time 11 parties in interest
and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard.
