1939-09-15 Special 60S : Okoøchoboe, Florida September 15, 1939 The City Oo=cil of the City of Okcochobce, F1ori~, met in ~eci~ I ccssion &t 7:30 o'clock on the above date at tho City Hall, and the following were fresen~: W. J. Hendry, Mayor, H. H. R&ulerson, President of City Council, Councilm Brass, Swain and Hunt, with Alto Watford, City Clerk, T. W. Conely, Jr. City Attorne , 1\. O. Stewart, Fire Chief and L. L. Conrad, Chief of Polic. in attonduncø. Mayor Hendry stated that the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the finances of the City, and æ.ny other business that may come before tho Council. After discussing the financial condition, motion was made by Councilman ."-' Hunt, seconded by Councilman Swain and carried, that Oertificates of Indebtedness be isI3ued to City Employees for amounts due them to date. The form of such certificate to be prepared by tho City Attorney, ~d approved by tho finance committee of the Council. Upon motion duly made and seconded the Mayor Wij8 requested to confer with . ~A repreSem~i"8 for ~ùing ~ a project on certain streets in said City. .
