. The City Council of the City of Okeeohobee, Florida, met in regular adjourned
session at the City Hall, at 7: 30 P. K. on the above date with the following
. members present: 'w. J. Hendry, Mayor, H. H. Raulerson, President of City Oouncil,
Councilmen Swain and Culbreth, with Alma Sherman, Deputy City Clerk, O. O. KoOain,
4IÞ Water Supt., BO O. stewart, Fire Chief and T. w. conely, Jr., City Attorney in
attendance.
t Councilman Swain made motion Cat Alto WatfoJ;d. City CleJ;k. be paid the amount of
Forty Dollars each out of the Water Fund., to apply on regular salary as City Clerk.
l4otion was duly seconded by Oounoilman Culbreth and carried.
Councilman Culbreth presented the following Resolution and moved its adoption, and
upon be seconded by Councilman Swain, was put to a vote and unanimously adopted:

WHEBEAS, the City of Okeeohobee is indebted to certain City Officials
hereinafter named and is without funds to satisfy said indebtedness and
WHEIŒAS, said officials have agreed to accept notes of the City fo%
the amounts due them payable twelve months after date with interest at the
rate of ~ per annum, and
WHEREAS, if said notes are executed and delivered to said officials
.1 'tqe.y will be enabled to obtain advances against said nateå.
NOW, THEREFORI, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
4IÞ Okåechobee, Florida, that the president of the City Council and the City
Clerk be, and they are, hereby authorized to execute notes in the name of
the City of Okeechobee, Florida, to the following persons in the amounts
set opposite their names:
W. J. Hendry .260.00
Kossie Williams 310.00
L. L. Conrad 410.00
B. o. Stewart 310.00
That said notes Shall be dated June 15th, 1939, and shall bear interest
