I BE IT ORDAINED BY THE KAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY or OKEEOHOBEE, FLORIDA: ~ 0 That the City of Okeechobee, Florida, hereby levies a tax of Two Hundred and nine (209) mills on each dollar valuation of real and personal property withln 0 the corporate limits of the City of Okeechobee, Florida, for the year 1938, such taxes shall be assessed and collected in the aanner provided by law, PROVIDID HOW- " EVER, that no taxes shall be assessed against homesteads having a valuation of Five :Thousand <15,000.00) Dollars and less, and homesteads having a valuation of more than $5,000.00 shall not be taxed on the first $5,000.00, as herein before provided, except as provided in Section 2 of this Ordinance.
