Code Officer Sterling testified the property owner had been contacted several times and received certified notices. Although
some work has been done, the property remains in non compliance for mowing and general cleaning. Member Montesi moved
to find Case 07-160 in violation of Ch 30 Sec 30-44 imposing a fine of twenty-five dollars per day commencing three days after
receipt of notification; seconded by Member Revels.

Code Officer Sterling testified he had been speaking with property owner, William Davis, on a regular basis. He stated the
property had been cleared but the piles of vegetation had not been removed. Code Officer Sterling informed the board William
Davis had requested an extension of time to have the debris removed from property. Member McCreary moved to postpone
Case 07-161 until the next Code Board meeting scheduled for July 8, 2008; seconded by Member Sweda.

until the next Code Board meeting scheduled on July 8, 2008 in order to allow time for all necessary permits to be issued and
if the case is in compliance by July 8, 2008 it will be withdrawn from the agenda; seconded by Member McCreary.

The applicant was issued a permit on October 15, 2007 to replace windows and apply a
stucco finish to the above address.
Upon a site inspection, I observed work being done beyond the scope of permit. The
structure was completely open exposing all framing, roof and floor system. Electrical
outlets and service was completely exposed creating a hazard.
I informed the Electric utility to disconnect the electrical service to the building. The
owner was notified to stop all work and provide engineered drawings and make
application for permits before complete project.
I have been working with Mr. Cisneros with plans. As of June 9, 2008 no permit has
been issued.

Cisneros in preparing engineered drawings to present to the city in order
to correct the violations at 608 SE 101h Avenue. I have been working with
the engineer to make sure we have addressed all the issues at hand. The
complete drawings should be finalized by the engineer and ready for
