Johnson. 100 SE 10' Avenue Ch. 30: Sec. 30-41 Disabled vehicle & Sec. 30-43 Public nuisances. Code Officer Sterling testified Lois Johnson's son Kelly Johnson is now taking care of the property. Mr. Sterling has been in contact with Mr. Johnson on numerous occasions but the property is still not in compliance. He stated the City building inspector had found the mobile home on this property to be irreparable. Member Montesi moved to find Case #06-213 in violation of Ch 30 Sec 30-43 and impose a fine of twenty-five dollars per day upon receipt of notification; seconded by Member Nelson. VOTE WORLEY - ABSENT GAMIOTEA - YES CASTORINA -ABSENT IRBY - ABSENT MONTESI - YES NELSON -YES SWEDA - No HANCOCK - YES REVELS - NO MOTION CARRIED. Code Officer Sterling testified mobile home on the property was uninhabitable and being used for storage. Member Revels moved to find Case #06-216 in non-compliance allowing fifteen days to demolish and remove debris after that time a fifty dollar per day fine would begin. Vice Chairperson Gamiotea called for a second three times. Motion failed for lack of second. After some discussion Member Revels moved to find Case #06-216 in violation of Ch 30 Sec 30-41 and Sec 30-43 allowing property owner thirty days to begin the paperwork to bring property in compliance after that time a twenty-five dollar per day fine would begin. Vice Chairperson Gamiotea called for second three times. Motion failed for lack of second. Johnson. 100 SE 101 Avenue Code Officer Sterling stated the owner had contacted him and said he was planning to demolish the structure and requestec Ch. 30: Sec. 30-43 Public nuisances more time. Member Sweda moved to find Case #06-218 in non-compliance and postpone until the next regular meeting; seconded by Member Revels. No. 07-028 Code Officer Sterling testified he had spoken with Cathy Odom and given her an extension of time to clean up the property, William B. Odom Estate. 1003 -1009 SW 101h Street however it was not in compliance at this time. Ms. Odom addressed the board stating the disabled vehicle and debris had Ch 30: Sec 30-41 Disabled vehicle and Sec 30-43 Public been removed. She requested an extension to give her time to talk to the City building inspector to determine whether the nuisances shed has to be taken down or if it can be repaired. Member Hancock moved to find Case #07-028 in violation of Ch 30 Sec 30-41 and Sec 30-43 allowing thirty days from receipt of notification to come into compliance after that time a twenty-five dollar per day fine would commence; seconded by Member Revels. NW 10'h Avenue Attorney Cook suggested the case be postponed to be sure all heirs had been properly notified or consider recommending Ch 30: Sec 30-44 General cleaning and beautification the City Administrator look into having the property cleaned. Member Sweda moved to find Case #07-036 in violation of Ch 30 Sec 30-44 and recommend the City Administrator consider directing public works to clean the property and place a lien on the property for all cost incurred; seconded by Member Nelson. Said inspection was conducted by myself and Fred Sterling, Code Enforcement Officer. The following code violations were observed and are required to be corrected: Overall Park Electrical Services A. Clearly label all electric meters & corresponding disconnects with lot 4's. B. Remove abandoned electric services that no longer correspond with a lot. C. Remove any rotted wood from electric meter banks and replace with approved material. 2. Overall Park Plumbing A. Place Vacuum breakers on all hose bibs. Individual Lot Violations A. Lot 8 — Electrical Service has been broken into (no meter seal) Notify FP&L B. Lot 12 — MH is in a state of disrepair & is considered a derelict structure. Repair or remove MH. Open sewer under MH. C. Lot 13 — Water heater is wired improperly & sewer connection needs to be repaired. D. Lot 15 — Major water leak from plumbing connection to trailer. Unpermitted addition, laundry facilities on deck, improperly wired and plumbed. Remove or permit. E. Lot 23 '/2 - A/C unit wired improperly, remove spliced wiring from underside of MH. Wires need protection. F. Lot 24 — Improper wiring from disconnect, not protected from damage. G. Lot 25 — Fasten disconnect on MH properly. Remove all spliced wiring from underside of trailer and connect in an approved box. H. Lot 26 — Exterior light wired improperly (Romex draped over aluminum screen room) Protect wires. 55 S.F.
