Parrott Avenue cleaning and beautification E CODE BOARD ACTION Code Officer Sterling requested the withdrawal of Case #07-030 Jamie L. Demeter and #07-031 Chateau Homes from today's agenda due to compliance. Code Officer Sterling testified the cleaning on Case #04-026 had not been finished. He stated the debris had been piled on the property but had not been removed. There was some discussion regarding what action should be taken by the Code Board since the property was already under a fine and foreclosure had been previously recommended to the City Council. Member Irby moved to request City Council review the recommendation to proceed with foreclosure on Case #04-026 Gloria & Mary Brown; seconded by Member Castorina. Worley - Yes Castorina - Yes Irby - Yes Sweda - No Revels - Yes Motion Carried Code Officer Sterling testified Okeechobee -FL Properties had received notices by certified mail and he had been in contact by phone with a representative who told him the property would be mowed and cleaned. However at this time nothing has been done to bring the property into compliance. Member Revels moved to find Case #07-014 not in compliance and impose a fifty dollar per day fine commencing upon the date notice is received; seconded by Member Irby. However, it was decided by the board not to take any action at this time since this business in currently in litigation for another matter. There being no further items on the agenda Chairperson Worley adjourned the meeting at 7:35 p.m. The next regular Code Board Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 8, 2007.
