Whe-re meters are pla.cGd the minimum raf,e shall bell. 50 per month, the minimum
rate geing defined as 3,500 gallons, the sliding scale being as follows: For the
next 26,500 gallons the 'rate's shall be 30, per thousand gallons and in excess of
30,000 gallons shall be at .therate of 25' per thousand.
Where there is more than one house connected to one meter, each house shall
pay the minimum rate of 11.50 per month and each of such houses shall bea 110.,d
three thousa~d five hundred gallons for aaid minimum rate; allover 3,500 gallons
for each house shall be at the rate of 30t per thousand gallons up to 30,000 gallons
and in excess of said Thirty Thousand Gallons for each house shall be at the rate
of 25' per thousand gallons.

Mayor Hendry stated that the meeting was called for the purpose. of."disous sing

After a lenght,y discussion the City Council decided to ca1::t. a. m. ass meeting n.
of the Citizens of the town, to be held Karoh 15,1937, g P. M., at th~ Court House.
Chief of police Conrad appeared before the City Council and asked that he ~
be allowed expenses for gasoline for hue automobile.
After some discussion motion was made by Councilman Swain that Chief of police
be allowed $30.00 a month of expenses. Motion was seconded by Councilman Culbreth
and was duly carried.

made a motion tha~ Kr. A. W. Lyndon, local representative of the W. P. A.
be notified that the City of Okeechobec, Florida, will contribute to the re-
creation project 1ts quota and will also furnish additional funds for skilled
. labor and materiais as outlined in letter from Chief Engineer to Mr. Lyndon.
Kotion was seconded by Councilman Swain and was duly carried.

Swain made motion to give L.C.Tootle, Water supterintendent, 10 days
vacation with pay, wi th the understanding that his son take care of his posit ion
during,his vacation, with the understanding that Mr.Tootle take his vacation
between the lOth of April and 20th of April. Br~3,ss seconded the motion..umd was
carried.
Brass made motion to secure a man to read meters. Motion was seconded by
Councilman Culbreth and carried.
Oounci1man Culbreth presented Ordinance no.1ßO and moved its adoption.
