Parrott Avenue (under a $30 per day fine since 03/07/02) I ADJOURNMENT - CHAMPERSON WORLEY PLEASE TAKE NOTICE AND BE ADVISED that if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Code Enforcement Board with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, he/she may need to insure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. Tapes are for the sole urpose of backup for official records of the department. I -:� 1"I OCIL 4 Mark Worley, Jr., Chairp son ATT ST: i/ Sue Christopher, Secret CODE BOARD ACTION Code Officer Tomey informed the Code Board that Geraldine Bertram had called him before the meeting and requested that her case be tabled until January because she had to go out of town and would not be able to attend tonights meeting. There was discussion as to whether to table Case# 01- 0127 it was the consensus of the Code Board to proceed because the fine had been running for a lot longer than the required ninety days. Member Montesi moved to find Case # 01-0127 still in violation of Chp. 8 Sec 8-8 Disabled Vehicles with a fine of $30.00 per day continuing and if the vehicle is not removed by January 10, 2003 the Code Board recommends that Attorney Cook begin proceedings to enforce the fine; seconded by Member Nelson. After some further discussion a vote was taken. Worley - Yes Montesi - Yes Nelson - Yes Weisser - Yes Castorina - Yes Motion Carried Chairperson Worley asked for an update on Case# 01-0154 Gaughan/Nairnsey. Code Officer Tomey stated that clean-up work had already started and that he thought the closing had taken place about a week ago. Chairperson Worley asked for an update on Case# 00-01-01 Marvin Brantley. Code Officer Tomey stated that Attorney Cook was preparing to file a nuisance lawsuit. Code Officer Tomey also reported that Case# 02-216 Evelyn P. Dasher Estate was being delayed due to a conflict between two of the heirs and a third heir that has not been located, but that it would be on the next agenda if necessary. Chairperson Worley informed the Code Board that Linda Ballinger would be resigning effective immediately. Chairperson Worley asked that appointment of a new Code Board member be put on the Member Montesi moved to adjourn; seconded by Member Nelson. Meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
