CODE BOARD ACTION
Code Officer Tomey explained to the Code Board that Case # 01-0059 was originally found in violation
October 31, 2001. Then it was put on hold during the moratorium that was placed on cases which had
untended vegetation. Although the owners had been notified by certified mail that the moratorium had
been lifted, the violation was never corrected. There was some discussion among the board members as
to whether the owners had been properly notified and if the Code Officer should try to communicate
with them by phone. Member Weisser read the notice of violation form letter so that the Code Board
was clear as to what type of notice had been sent to the owners. Member Weisser moved to find Case
#01-0059 in violation of Chapter 8 Section 8-11 and impose a fine of $10.00 per day commencing one
week from this meeting; seconded by Member Gamiotea.
