November 20,1936 Pursuant to adjournment, the City Council of the City of Okeechobee, Florida, met at the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P. M. on the abmve date for the purpose of hearing and considering the complaint of any person whose name has been erroneously 4IÞ stricken from the City Registration Book and ~o transact any business tha* may come before the Council and the following were present: H. H: Raulerson, P~esident I Prot~, Co~ci1men Singletary and O. L. H~t, with Alto htford, City Clerk, T. W. Conely, City Attorney and N. O. Stewa.rt,Fire Chief in attendance. H. H. Raulerson, President Pro Tem, presided over the meeting. Upon report of City Clerk, there was found to be no complaints of persons whose names had been erroneously stricken from the City Registration Book. Rev. J. B. OuDpepper, a committe of one from the Civitan Club, appeared before the City Council in regards to City purchasing lights for diamond ball court to be erected in the City Parks. . Councilman Hunt made motion for the City to donate ,$150.00 for lighting diamond ball court in the City Parks, provided the agreement is made between the City of Okeechobee, and Florida Power and Light Company for cost of current, Councilmø.n Singletary seconded motion andM.s carried. Councilman Hunt made motion that Inspectors and Clerk for general Oity'Election I be paid $3.00 each for their services. Motion was seconded by Councilman Singletar and was c a.rried. I 4IÞ Councilman Hunt made motion that application of S. R. Raifsnider for.T~x Ad- justment of taxes on lot 7 Block 157 be granted. Motion wæ seconded by Oouncilma Singletary and carried.
