Pursuant 80 adjournment, the City Council of the City of Okeechobee, Florida,
met at the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P, M. on the above date for the purpose of
considering petitons of candida~es in the General City Election to be held
December 1,1936 and to transact any business that may come before the Council and
the following were present: H. H. Hanoock, Mayor, s. L. Hunt, President of
City Council, Councilmen H. H. Raulerson, Victor Domer, R. H. Singletary, and
T. T. Coleman, with Alto Watford, City Clerk, R. O. Evans, Chief of Police,
T. W. Conely, City Attorney and N. O. Stewart, Fire Chief, in attendance.
O. L. Hunt requested that his petitœon not be considered by the City council.
Councilman Singlet~ry made motion" to return qualification fees of O. L. Hunt I
and that his request be granted. Motion was seconded by Councilman Domer and
carr*ed.
Petitions were presented for
/ The following candidates&were accepted by the City Council after it was found
that each petition contained 25 or more of the qualified electors of the City of
Okeechobee, Florida, and that each cal~idate had paid a qualffication fee of five
dollars;

Pursuant to adjournment, the City Council of the City of Okeechobee, Florida,
met at the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P. M. on the abmve date for the purpose of
hearing and considering the complaint of any person whose name has been erroneously
4IÞ stricken from the City Registration Book and ~o transact any business thaå may
come before the Council and the following were present: H. H. Raulerson, p~esident
I protem, Councilmen Singleto.ry and O. L. HUilt, with Alto Watford, City Clerk,
T. W. Conely, City Attorney and N. O. Stewa.rt,Fire Chief in attendance.
H. H. Raulerson, President Pro Tem, presided over the meeting.
Upon report of City Clerk, there was found t$ be no complaints of persons
whose names had been erroneously stricken from the City Registration Book.
Rev. J. B. Cuipepper, a committe of one from the Civitan Club, appeared before
the City Council in regards to City purchasing lights for diamond ball court to
be erected in the City Parks.
. Councilman Hunt made motion for the City to donate.t150.00 for lighting diamond
ball court in the City Parks, provided the agreement is made between the City
of Okeechobee, añd Florida Power and Light Company for cost of current, Councilmø.n
Singletary seconded motion andWiS carried.
Councilman Hunt made'motion that Inspectors and Clerk for general City "Election
I be paid $3.00 each for their services. Motion was øeconded by Councilman Singletar
and was c uried.

4IÞ Councilman Hunt made motion that application of S. R. Raifsnider for'Tax Ad-
justment of taxes on lot 7 Block 157 be granted. Motion wæ seconded by Councilma
Singletary and carried.
Upon motion the City Council was adjourned.
