the Oity Council in regards to renewing street lighting contract between the City
I of Okeechobee - and the norida Power and liigb.t OOlllpany.
Upon discussion the City Council deferred action on this matter until next \

meeting night. .
Mr. Morris Thomas appeared before the City Council and requested the City
Oounc1l to repe.al that part of the liquor ordinance' requir1ng the distance of a
L1qaor store to be 1;00 feet from the nearest Church and changing the distanoé to
1000 feet from 'bhe nearest church.
Upon discuesion there was no action taken on th1s matter.
