Hearings of the municipal code violations were held by

Member Palmore moved to dismiss case 117-85. Seconded by member Clements. Motion carried.
CASES TO BE PRESENTED
116-85 Annette White
Junked Vehicles on property

Code Enforcement Officer Tomey advised the board of thE situation still pending for
Annette White. The Vehicles are still on the property and they do not intend to move
them because they said they are antiques. Member Walker stated he felt the property
owner should be notified. Chairman Jeffers stated that the Code Enforcement Officer
should get with the Attorney and see what can be done on th s matter.

OVERGROWN LOTS
Code Officer Tomey advised the board the City needs an Ordinance for overgrown
lots. He stated Mr. Davis, City Assistant Administrator, suggested the Code Board
send a letter to the City Council asking them to come up with an Ordinance or spec-
ifications on how high; how to get the lots cut and how to collect the bill after
cutting the lots.
Chairman Jeffers asked Code Officer and the secretary to draft a letter in the
form of a request to the City Council to clarify this Ordinance.
Member Scherrer moved to send a letter to City Council in the form of a request
to revise, explain high density and etc. in the ordinance. Seconded by member
Thompson. Motion carried.
ELECTION OF VICE CHAIRMAN
Chairman Jeffers opened the floor for nomination foi a Vice Chairman. Member
Palmore nominated Deara Thompson. Member Walker seconde . Chairman Jeffers asked
for a motion to cease nominations. Member Clements so m ved. Seconded by member
Palmore. A vote was called for Deara Tnompson to be Vice Chairman. Vote Unanimous.
TIME CHANGE FOR MEETINGS
A discussion was held by the members of the board tc change the time of the
meetings to 7:00 O'Clock P.M. instead of the 2:00 O'C1oc meetings. The board voted
to change the meetings to 7:00 P.M. on the seconded (2nd) Tuesday of each month.
Next meeting will be January 14, 1986 at 7:00 P.M.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the aord, Member Walker moved
to adjourn. Seconded by member Clements. Meeting Adjou:ned.
