AN ORDINANCE IlvIPOSING LICENSES AND OTHER TAXES ON THE MANUFACTURE,
DISTRIBtITION AND SALE OF BEVERAGES CONTAINING MORE THAN ONE PER CENT OF
ALCOHOL, PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT AND COLLEOTION THEREOF AND PRESCRIBING
PENU,TIES FOR THE VIOLII.TION OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDI\I NED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OKEE-
CHOBEE, FLORIDA:
Section 1.
No ryerson, firm or car1:"oration, shall engp.ge j n the mi.'ll1ufa.cture,
distribution fJnd sple of bever../?_ges containing more t'h~n one per centum'of
alcohol, within the corpora,te limits of the City of Okeechobee, Florid2., un-
le ss a City license sh~_ll h?.ve been procured from the TB.x Collector of sa.id
Ci ty and e,ttested in the nB.me of the 01 ty Clerk e.nd the corpora.te seal of
said City im,ressed thereon by the City Clerk, whose fee for attesting f!.nd
'T)lacing the seal thereon shRll be twenty five cents (25~), paid by the ner-
son (')r persons, firm. or corporation taking out sf1.,ið license.
section 2.
All licenses issued pursuant to the provisions of this Ordinance
shp_ll be payable on or before the first day of Janup.ry of each yeeL') and no
license shpll be i Bsued for B.nY fractional m~rt of R ueH"', ex~t"'.'I')t thrJ.t after
the first day of October, !L D'. 1935, such licenses may be isBued after the
first df1.7 of July, in eRch year, to ex:Jire Jf'_nuHry 1st in the succeeding yeæ

corporation, who has theretofore procured a license from the City of Okee-

Licenses herein referred to shall be classified es follows:
