RE: Variance for First Baptist Church of Okeechobee, Inc.
Dear Board Members:
This letter is to inform you of our interest in the subject property, Lots 5, 6, 7,8,9 and 10,
Block 182, City of Okeechobee. We own the property and intend to use the property for
storage of our miscellaneous supplies. A small portion of the proposed structure will be
allocated for our Mission House to be able to expand and allow us to reach many needed
families within our community. In order to execute our plans for the above, a variance is
needed to build the size of structure that is necessary to fulfill all our needs.
We are requesting that the rear required setback of twenty feet is reduced to zero. The south
side required setback of twenty feet is reduced to zero. We need your cooperation in
granting approval so that we can start helping those families in our community that need our
assistance, especially with the holidays nearing.
