Pursuant to o~ll O~the ayor, the City Council of the City of Okeechobee,
Florida, met in special e City Hall at 7.30 0'c10ok P. M. on the above date
and the following were resent: HO H. Hancock, Mayor, Alto Watford, President of
City Councll, Councilmen D. B. Mc arthy and A. W. Brass with R. P. Fletcher, City
Clerk, W. S. A. Henderson, Fire Chief,- L. L. Conrad, C,hief of Police and L. O.
Tootle, Water Superintendent in attendance.
Oounci1men-e1ect R. H. Singletary, T. T. Coleman, V. J. Domer, H. H. Raulerson
and O. L. Hunt were also p"resent.
Mayor Hancock stated that meeting had been called for the purpose of consider-
ing further the purchase of a generator and the' use of Park funds for that purpose.

The following Resolution was offered by Councilman Brass, who moved its adop-
tion, motion seconded by Oounci1man McCarthy and pas~ed:
RESOLUTION
. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Okeeohobee, by resolution, approved
the purchase of a generator and authorized the City Clerk to prepare a voucher in
the sum of $310.00 payable to Tempo. Armaturs Works, Ino. for sø.1d generator, end I
WHEREAS, this City Council deems it best to pay the sum of $20Q.OO. a~ the
present time, instead of the said sum of $310.00, . .
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the sum of $200.00 be paid to said Tampa, .
Armature Works, Inc. at- the present time and the balance of $110.00 be paid within
ninety days from this date or at such time as may be~agreed between the City of Okee-
chobee and the said Tampa Armature Works, Inc., but not less than ninety days from
the date of this Resolution,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the sum of $210.00 be transferred from the Park
Fund of said City to the General Fund. for the sole purpose of making payment on the
purchase of said generator and that said transfer shall be a loan and shall be
transferred and repaid to said Park Fund as soon as possible.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that City Clerk be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed to prepare a voucher in the sum of $200.00 payable to said Tampa Armature
Works, Ino.
Passed and adopted in open session this 2nd day of January, A. D. 1935. .
