No alcoholic beverages on City property, this includes streets and sidewalks) ~Clean-up is required within 24 hours. ~No alcoholic beverages can be consumed or taken out on City property, streets or sidewalks. ~No donations can be requested if any type of alcoholic beverages are served on private property/business unless you possess a State Alcoholic Beverage License. Please note there are inside consumption and outside consumption licenses. You must have the appropriate license. ~The City Public Works Department will deliver the appropriate barricades. The City Police Department will set them out and take them down at the appropriate times. ~Dumpsters and port-a-Iets are required when closing the street for more than 3 hours. Kirk, Mayor Lane Gamiotea, City Clerk AUGUST 19, 2003 - REGULAR MEETING - PAGE 10 OF 10 COUNCIL ACTION. -DISCUSSION - VOTE Council Member Watford moved to approve a request by the Chamber of Commerce to temporarily close Southwest 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Avenues between North and South Park Streets on August 30 through September 1 for the Labor Day Festival; seconded by Council Member Markham. VOTE KIRK - YEA CHANDLER - YEA MARKHAM. YEA WATFORD - YEA WILLIAMS - YEA MOTION CARRIED. Ms. Benda Bast, President of the River Run Homeowners' Association addressed the Council regarding the City authorizing building permits for older mobile homes (trailers) when their deed restrictions do not allow them and also restrict areas for single-wide and double-wide units. Attorney Cook advised that the City does not have the authority to enforce deed restrictions. If a trailer is allowed by City Code, then a building permit must be issued. However, the County recently adopted an ordinance placing an age limit on mobile homes within the County. He recommended the City follow suit. Council agreed and instructed Attorney Cook to amend the existina code to have aae limits on mobile homes within the City, Attorney Cook advised that he would submit an ordinance for Council consideration in October. Until an ordinance is adopted building permit applications for River Run should be "flagged" so to advise the applicant of the deed restrictions which could result in law suits. should the applicant violate those restrictions. from the home owners association.
