Pursuant to adjournment the City Council of the City of Oke~choQee, Florida,
met at the City Hall at 7.30 o'clock P. M. on the above date and the following
were presen~: H. H. Hancock, Mayor, Alto Watford, President Cit¥ Council, Council-
I men J. H. Wùker. Sr.. J, D. BreU ~ D, B. KcCar~y with R. P. Fl~t~er. City
Clerk, L. ~. Conrad, Chief of police,. G. C. Durrance, City Attorney and L. C. Tootle,

Minutes of meetings held October 2nd, October 9th, Octobe~ 18ih, October 19th
and October 31st, 193~ were read and approved.
Mr. F. H. Baggott add1'8B8èd-"ØĹ“uno11relå.tive to1ihe improvement of Miami
Street between Blook 236 and 237 by the. FERA and requested Co-uncil to agree not to
pave said street for a per1o~ of five years.
The following Resolution was offered by Councilman McCarthy, who moved its
adoption, motion seconded by Councilman Walker and passed:
RESOLUTION
I . WHERAS, the Federal Emergency Relie~ Association has approved a project for the
improvement and beautification of the Public Scbool grounds in Okeecbobee City schools
and - . . '
WHEREAS, Miami street runs between the scbool grounds and the Foot Ball Field
and the opening or paving of said street would materially interfere with t he pro- '
posed improvements Wþioh are contemplated in said project, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of aiding the said Federal E
Relief A~sociation in any manner possible that will add to the health merjgenoy
of our 01ty or schools, or en oyment
