(Minimum $1,000,000.00, required of all applications) If any items are being sold on City street or sidewalk then a Temporary Use Permit must be attached for each business participating. Permits can be obtained from General Services. State Food Service License if selling food. State Alcoholic Beverage License. (You can only serve on private property. No alcoholic beverages on City property, this includes streets and sidewalks) ~Clean-up is required within 24 hours. ~No alcoholic beverages can be consumed or taken out on City property, streets or sidewalks. ~No donations can be requested if any type of alcoholic beverages are served on private property/business unless you possess a State Alcoholic Beverage License. Please note there are inside consumption and outside consumption licenses. You must have the appropriate license. ~The City Public Works Department will deliver the appropriate barricades. The City Police Department will set them out and take them down at the appropriate times. ~Dumpsters and port-a-Iets are required when closing the street for more than 3 hours. Council Member Walford recommended that the vendors set up in the street and not in the park to avoid any uncertainty regarding whether their sales will be for non-profit. Council Member Chandler moved to approve a Temporary Street Closing submitted by First Baptist Church for Southwest61t1 Avenue between North and South Park Streets on October 31, 2005 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 Midnight for a Community Fall Festival; seconded by Council Member Williams. The motion to approve a reduction in parking for White House Plaza was withdrawn from the agenda. Council Member Chandler moved to approve a proposed contract for legal services submitted by Attorney John R. Cook; seconded by Council Member Watford. After reviewing the contract Mayor Kirk stated he found it to be fair. The contract is effective as of October 1, 2005. Attomey Cook has been instructed to bring back to the Council the costs for the professional liability insurance. This item will be discussed at a later date. Council Member Watford moved to amend the contract and delete the Professional Liability Insurance paragraph listed as 5.1: seconded by Council Member Markham. KIRK. YEA CHANDlER.
