Mr. Zaw1 addressed Council relative to purchase of mowing machine. Action on
purchase of machine was deferred ~lntil more funds are available. ~i I

Application was received from H. G. Culbreth for a license to sell vinous and
malt beverages at Parrott Avenue Station.
On motion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Brett, Council author-
ized City Clerk and City Tax Collector to issue license to H. G. Culbreth for sale
of vinous and malt beverages at Parrott Avenue Station.
Asseßßment
The City Colli1cil having finished the review and equalization of the City TaxI
Roll for the year 1934 as prepared by the City Tax Assessor, on motion of Co w.v..;ÌI:::an
kcCarthy, seconded by Colliîcilmw1 Brett, Cow1cil returned said Roll to the City Tax
Assessor for completion. !
On motion Council adjourned to meet at the City Hall at 7.30 o'clock P. M.
October 18th, 1934 for the purpose of preparing and adopting a budget for the City
of Okeechobee, Florida,for the year 1935.

prepa,ring and adopting a budget for the Ci ty of Okeechobec, for the year 1935 and
the following were present: Alto Watford, Presi~ent City Cow1cil, Councilmen A; W.
Brass, J. D. Brett, D. B. McCarthy and J. H. W8.1ker, Sr. with R. P. Fl etcher, City
Clerk, G. C. Durrance, City Attorney, L. L. Conrad, Cb.ief of Police, w. S. A. Hen-
derson, Fire Chief in attendance.
Mr. E. G. Arndt appeared be£or('. Council relative to his building on Lot 911
Block 207. Cow1cil agreed to allow him 30 days to repair said building.
Mœssrs. Vocelle, McNeill, Conely and. Winney a.ddrossod Council relative to
rate of millage fo:::, tt.e tax rol] for the your 193)+ D.nd requested Council to levy
as low 11 millage as possible and ~ to make levy sufficient to pay all principal
Qnd interest now due.
