This proposed change will not only creat spot zoning
but it w'ill also be detrimental to the aijacent residen_
tial areas by adversely affecting proper y Values.
Within the city of Okeechobee there are _lenty of more
adequate locations for this type of development, areas

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO AMEND CITY ZONIN ORDINANCE #402
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Board of the City of Okeechobee,
Florida, a municipal corporation, will consider rezoni g from Commercial to
Residential, General (RG-2) and to amend accordingly t e Comprehensive Zoning
Ordinance #402 clarified adopted August 8, 1878, the f described real
property, situate, lying and being within' the corporate limits of the City of
Okeechobee, Florida, to-wit:
Lots 11 and 12, Block 35, FIRST ADDITION TO SOUTH KEECHOBEE,
according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Bo 1, page 17,
Public Records of Okeechobee County, Florida.
and that a public hearing in relation thereto will be h Id at 7:00 P.M. on the
1st day of July, 1980, in the City Council Room, City H 11, Okeechobee, Florida,
at which time all parties in interest and citizens shal have an opportunity
to be heard.
