Okeechobee, Florida, December, 5, 1933.
I The City Co=c11 of the City of Okeechobee, Florida, met in re~u session
at the City Hall at 7.30 o'clock P. M. om the above date and the following were
present: H. H. Hancock, Mayor, Alto Watford, President of City Council, Councilmen
J. H. Walker, Sr, D. B. McCarthy and J. D. Brett with R. P. Fletcher, City Clerk,
L. L. Conrad, Chief of Police and L. C. Tootle, Water Superintendent in attendance.
Minutes of meeting held Novemver 7th, 1933 were read w1d approved.
Mayor HW1cock recommended that some changes be made in the following City
ordinances: Nos. 6', 73 w1d 114, and after discussing chw1ges suggested, Council
~nstructed City Attorney to prepare ordinances making changes as agreed to by
4IÞ Mayor and Council.

Pursuant to call of the Mayor, the City Council of the City of Okeechobee,
Florida, met in special session at 2.30 o'clock P. M. on the above date at the
Ci ty Hall and the following were present: H. H. Hancock, Mayor, Alto Watford,
President of City Council, Coill1cilmen J. D. Brett and D. B. McCarthy with R. P.

Mayor Hancock stated that meeting of Council had been called for the purpose
of considering the adoption of resolutions relative to work projects proposed to
I be done by the Okeechobee County Civil Works Admini stration wi thin th'e City of
Okeechobee.
4IÞ The following resolution was offered by Councilman Brett, who moved its
adoption, motion seconded by Councilman McCarthy and passed:

RESOLUTION SHOWING THE NECESSITY FOR FEDERAL FUNDS FOR CIVIL WORKS
ADMINISTRATION PROJECTS.
Be it resolved: By the City Council of the City of Okeechobee, the County of
Okeechobee, State of Florida, that the Relief Work proposed by the Okeechobee
II County Civil Works Administration, by its proposal for work project number 90 being
a project for street lights in the City of Okeechobee, Florida, is a public project
for the benefit of the general public, and not for the benefit of 8.ny pri vRte
interest ~1d is on publicly oM1ed property, except as follows: All on public
owned property.
