at the City Hall at 8.00 olclock P. M. on the above date and the following were
present: J. D. Bird,-Mayor,-Alto ~atford, President of City Council, Oouncilmen
D. B. McCarthy and J. H. Walker, Sr. with R. P. Fletcher, Oúty Clerk,' L. L. Oonrad)
Ohief of Police and G. O. Durrance, City Attorney in attendance.
Minutes of meeting held August 1st, 1933 were read and adopted.
Councilman-Walker moved that Council authorize Dr. O. R. Bibb and O. A. Fulford
to v8.Ccinate-,'dogs against rabies provided they make no charge except for cost of
serum, motion seconded by Oouncilman Mcgarthy and passed. tIÞ
Applioation was received from H. C. Watford for license to sell vinous and
malt beverages. I
Councilman Walker moved that Tax Collector and Clerk be authorized to issue
license to H. O. Watford for sale of vlnous and malt beverages, motlon seconded
by Councilman McOarthy and paased.

Council of the Oity of Okeechobee, Florida, met in special session at the City Hall
at 7.30 olclock p. m. on the above date and the following were presenta Alto Watford

D. B. McCarthy and Victor Domer with R. P. Fletcher, City Clerk and L. L. Conrad,

Presideñt Watford stated that meeting had been called for the purpose of con-
sidering the resignation of J. Denham Bird as Mayor of theOity of Okeechobee,
Florida.
Resignation of J. Denham Bird as Mayor of the City of Okeechobee, ~lorida,
was presented and read.
On motion of Councilman McOarthy, seconded by Councilman Walker, Council -
accepted resignation of J. Denham Bird as Mayor of the City of Okeechobee, Florida,
effective this date.
Oouncil~an Victor Domer tendered his resignation as a member of the Oity Council I
of the City of Okeechobee, Florida, effective at once.
Presldent Watford requested President pro-tam Walker to assume the chair and
preside o~er the meeting.
On motion of Councilman Watford, seconded by Councilman McCarthy, Council
accepted resignation of Councilman Victor Domer effective on this date.
