Mayor Bird stated that meeting of Oounci1 had been called for the purpose of considering the appointment of a Chief of the Fire Department of the City of Okee- chobee. Applications for Chief of the Fire Department were received from the following: J. A. Underhill, W. S. A. Henderson and W. D. Milner. A. Underhill received three votes W. S. A. Henderson received one vote W. D. Milner received one vote. J. A. Underhill was declared elected Chief of the Fire Department. Denahm Bird, Mayor, Alto Watford, Presidenj of City Council, Councilmen J. H. Walker, Sr., D. B. McOarthy and Victor Domer with R. P. Fletcher, City Clerk, L. L. Conrad, Chief of Police, G. C. Durrance, City Attorney and L. O. Tootle, Water Superlntendent in attendance. Minutes of March 7th, March lOth and March 27th were read and approved. Councilman McOarthy moved that Oity pay premium on City Clerk's surety bond for year 1933 in the sum of $10.00, motion seconded by Oouncilman Walker and passed. On motion of Councilman Domer, seconded by Councilman McCarthy, Oo~cil authorized Clerk to order 100 dog tags for the year 1933. On motion of Councilman Komarthy, seconded by 00 unci 1m an Walker, Council authorized Clerk to transfer $200.00 from Water Fund to General Fund.
