Section 1. If any poultry running at large wi thin the City limi ts of the City !I
of Okeechobee, Florida, damages the property of any person, other than the owners 11

Ii
of said pôultry, and the person, whose property is so damaged, makes a complaint to II

the Mayor or Chief of Police of said City, the same shall be, and is hereby, declare~
I

-- a nuisance, a.nd' is expressly 'prohi bi ted. !
- Section 2. It shall be the duty of the Chîef -of police, or any other police II
- officer, ,when a Complaint is made, to immediately notify the owner of such poultry II
who shall take such'steps as are necessary to prevent said poultry 'from running at:
large and damaging the property of any other person.
Section 3. Any person Who permits poultry owned by them, to run at large withi~1
the said City of Okeechobee, Florida, after having been notified by the Chief df
Ii
Police or other police officer as provi~ed in Section 2 of this Ordinance, upon
conviction shall be fined not less than #1.00 and not more $10.00 or be imprisoned
in the City Jail for not more than 10 days, or both such fine and imprisonment, for I
each offence. :1
