the Council and stated that he desired to answer a resolution passed by the Council bn

the gth day of August 1932 in which the Council requested the Florida Power & Light II - '¡

Comp;ny to reduce rates for .lectrical energy and ice. Mr. Smith explained the cost Ii

of producing electrical energy ;md manufacturing ice and gave information showing Ii
Ii
amount of electrical energy consumed and record of ice sales and advised that under Ii

I present conditions the Compmy did not feel justified in making a reduction in Ii
rates at this time. ¡i
