• • rn �j 3 ��Qti►� PUBLIC NOTICE CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that as provided in the City of Okeechobee Charter Section C-4.1.A., the Mayor has called for a Special Meeting of the City Council to be held on Monday, October 28, 2024, 9 AM. or as soon thereafter as possible, at City Hall. 55 Southeast 3rd Avenue. Room 200, Okeechobee, Florida. The public is invited to attend and be heard and may submit written/oral comments before or at the meeting. The purpose of this Special Meeting is to conduct a PUBLIC HEARING to consider the adoption of the following: •ORDINANCE NO. 1298: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE, FLORIDA, REPEALING EMERGENCY ORDINANCE NO. 1297 IN ITS ENTIRETY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. The proposed item can be viewed/inspected in its entirety at the address above in Rm 100, during regular business hours, Mon-Fri 8 AM-4:30 PM, except holidays, contact the City Clerk's Office staff at 863-763- 9814.
