V. CONSENT AGENDA
A. Motion to approve September 2024 Warrant Register(Exhibit 3).
B. Motion to temporarily close a portion of Southwest 4th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues
from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on October 31, 2024, for the Fall Festival as submitted by First
Baptist Church of Okeechobee (Exhibit 4).
C. Motion to temporarily close a portion of Southwest 2nd Avenue between North and South Park
Streets from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on November 11, 2024, for the Veterans Day Service as
submitted by Thank You For Your Service (Exhibit 5).
VI. PUBLIC HEARING FOR ORDINANCE ADOPTION
A. Motion to read by title only. approve the first reading. and adopt proposed Ordinance No. 1295
revising Lots 4-5, TAYLOR CREEK MANOR. Plat Book 3, Page 4. from Single-Family
Residential to Commercial on the Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map. Application No.
24-001-SSA submitted by Chris Ossa, PE, Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc (Exhibit 6).

A. Motion to read by title only, approve the first reading, and set November 19, 2024, as the final
Public Hearing date for proposed Ordinance No. 1296 amending Lots 4-5, TAYLOR CREEK
MANOR, Plat Book 3, Page 4, from Residential Multiple Family to Heavy Commercial on the
Zoning Map, Petition No. 24-001-R submitted by Chris Ossa, PE, Kimley-Horn and Associates,
Inc. (Exhibit 7).
B. Economic Development Corporation update by Alex Tijerina.
