B. Motion to approve the May 2024 Warrant Register(Exhibit 2).
C. Motion to authorize Mayor Watford to execute a letter of approval for the distribution funds from
the Edward Bryne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant for the Okeechobee County Narcotics
Task Force Project, to accompany the Application submitted by the Sheriffs Office (Exhibit 3).
VI. PUBLIC HEARING FOR ORDINANCE ADOPTION
A. Motion to read by title only, and adopt proposed Ordinance No. 1290, adopting Abandonment of
Right-of-Way Petition No. 24-001-SC, that will vacate a portion of NW 5th Avenue between NW
9th Street and the Railroad, submitted by Jay and Stephanie Walpole (Exhibit 4).

A. Discussion of EV Charging Tariff and Storm Preparedness by Ilan Kaufer.
B. Motion to approve naming Mayor Watford as the Voting Delegate for the Florida League of Cities
Annual Conference on August 15-17, 2024 (Exhibit 5).
C. Motion to approve the renewal of Public Risk Management Group Health Insurance with a
maximum monthly cost to City per Employee per month of$1,099.07 and include an additional
HSA 05172/05173(Exhibit 6).
D. Motion to approve an increase of Employer contributions for Dependent Health Insurance
coverage from $150.00 to$200.00 per Employee per month (Exhibit 7).
E. Discussion of implementation of the Compensation Study provided by Evergreen Solutions, LLC.
F. Motion to approve the Memorandum of Understanding with Freedom Baptist Church of
Okeechobee for Construction, Access, and Parking (Exhibit 8).
