WHEREAS, the said City Council of the City of Okeechobee, Florida, do not I,

believe that such legislation is constructive, ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Okeechobee,
Florida, that said Council does oppose any such legislation and that the Represents. ive
?- of Okeechobee County and Senator from this Senatorial District be furnished with I,
copies of this resolution and that they be requested to oppose the proposed bill I
or any bill having similar provisions as stated above. I

shall be entitled to a trial or docket fee in the sum of Two ($2.00) Dollars; that :1
for every conviction or plea of guilty for violation of a municipal ordinance of '!
the City of Okeechobee, Florida, the Clerk of said City shall be entitled to a fee
of One ($l.OO>(Dollar and the Police Officer apprehending the defendant in said -¡
cause,/in case of conviction or plea of guil~ shall be entitled to a arresting

fee in the sum of Two ($2.00) Dollars, PROVIDED HOWEVER, that in case of convict -.
or plea of gililty the Mayor shall suspend or remit the cost, then in such case he
shall not be entitled to the fee aforesaid; and in the event the Clerk and/or
Police Officer consent to their cost being remitted or suspended they Shall not be
enti tIed to such fees, but the Mayor shall not suspend or remit the fees to which
the Clerk and/or Police Officer are entitled without their consent.
All fees shall be assessed by the Mayor of the City of Okeechobee, Florida,
as part of the costs, and shall be paid by the person or persons so convicted or
pleading guilty; in the event the charges are dismissed against any person or per-
