Florida, has hereunto issued and sold bonds of the said Oity for the purpose of :

making certain improvements, including the paving and hard-surfacing of streets, :
construction and laying of sewers, drains and water mains, and ::

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Tax Collector of the City of Okeecho- :;

The Oity Council of the City of Okeechobee, Florida, met in regular session
in the City Hall a~ 7.30 o'clock P. M. and the following were present: J. Denham

Albert Berka, D. B. McCarthy and Ben Walker with R. P. Fletcher, City Clerk, L. L.
- Conrad, Chief of Police, L. C. Tootle, Water Superintendent, and T. W. Conely, Jr.,
Ci ty Attorney in attendance.
Minut-es of meeting held February 3rd, 1931 were read and approved.
Mr. L. S. Turbyfill addressed Council relative to cultivating vacant lots I
within City lim~ts. I
Councilman Berka moved that City sell water to D. B. McCarthy Water Company
;for a period of one year from date at 15 cents per thousand gallons, provided that. I
in case of failure of City to furnish water to sa~d Company, City will not be I
.- liable for damages, motion seconded by Councilman J. H. Walker, Sr. and carried. i

Councilman Ben Walker voted No on above motion. II
On motion of Councilman MC~ arthy, seconded by Councilman Berka, Council II
authorized payment to L. L. Conrad, Chief of Police the stUU of $4.00 for one pair II
