That Section One of Ordinance No. 65 of the Ordinances of the City Ii jl of Okeechobee, rl~rida, is hereby amended to read as follows: 11 II "Section 1. That it shall be the duty of the City Council, at any regu1àr II II meeting thereof, when in the opinion of the City Council, that it is necessary, to Ii appo1n1; a 01ty Eleo1;r1cal Inllpeotor, whose duUes shall be to exam:l:ne all apPl1caufe r ¡ for permits to install electric wires, light s, and fixtures, in buildings wi thin II I II !I , the City of .Okeechobee, Florida, and if found competent as an electrician, to such !I ~ Ii II ...--. work, then he shall issue a permit, in writing, to such person, persons, firm or il 'I :, corporation, to do such work wi thin the Oi ty of Okeechobee, Florida, sa1d permit II " II shall be countersigned by the City Clerk under seal, and said City Clerk shall, be- II II fore delivering said permit or permits, collect a fee of $l.oo for same, which II :1 said fee shall be paid into the General Fund of said 01 ty, and such permit sha11 II entitle the holder thereof, to do and perform all electrical wiring and other 1nat~~- :1 ing of electrical wires, and other fixtures, up to and including the first ten out- ! . If, ùpon I final 'inspection, the said City Electrical Inspector shall find more than ten out- I ; ! i lets installed, under anyone permit, then he shall require the holder of such II permi t to pay an additional fee of ten cents for each outlet over ten, to the City II I Clerk and such additional fee shall be deposited in the General Fund of said City: , Ii of Okeechobee, Florida; and the said City Electrical Inspector shall not give his Ii I' final approval until said add! tional fee has been paid. II Ii II Section 2. That Section Two of Ordinance No. 65 'of ',the Ordinancðs of the C1't¥ ' :¡ of Okeechobee, rlor~da, is hereby, amended to read as follows: ii -- "Sect10n 2. That it shall be unlawful for any person, persons, firm or corpor- ation to install any electrical wiring or other fixture or lights, in any building ~ or structure, within the City of Okeechobee, Florida, without having first ,acquired I I' 'I I a permit as defined in Section One and compl.ying with other provisions in said II II ¡ Section One of this Ordinance." I Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective upon its passage and approval , by the Mayor. I Read a first time and by unanimous consent passed to a second reading. D. 1931. - ~ II II II On motion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Ben Walker, Council I of the General Fund authorized City Clerk to cancel City voucher f4586( 44ill.1issued to Victor Domer II December 8th, 1930 in the sum of $2.50 which has been lost and issue new voucher II for said alIount. , On motion of Councilman Ben Walker, seconded by Councilman McCarthy, Council authorized Mrs. Ruth B.
