The following resolution was proposed by Counoilman Raifsnider, who moved its
adoption, motion øecOIld.ed by Councilman Berka and carried: ,'1
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Okeeohobee, Florida, sitting ás a
canvassing board has canvassed the returns of the General City Election held
December 2nd, A. D. 1930, and
WHEREAS, J. Denham Bird received the gighest number of votes for Idayor, and
WHEREAS, Albert Berka, Dan B. McCarthy, Ben Walker, J. H. Walker, Sr. and

. Alto tatford received the highest number of votes for City Councilmen, and
WHEREAS, R. P. Fletcher received the highest number of votes for City Clerk,
now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED THAT J. Denham Bird be and is hereby declared elected .àd.ayor,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Albert Berka, Dan B. Mcðarthy, Ben Walker, ,J. H.
Walker, Sr. and Alto Watford be and they are hereby declared elected City Councilmen,
and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that R. P. Fletcher be and is hereby declared elected
City Clerk.

Councilman Ben Walker moved that/8l1J employ M. R. Lightsey to plough, disk and
drag five City parks under supervision of Park Committee for the sum of .1~.00 each,
motion seconded by Councilman J. H. Walker, Sr and carried.
