September 15, 2023 Code Officer Curl inspected the property, still non-compliant, no progress has been made. She spoke with the property owner's son again and explained to him again what needed to be addressed. He stated that he had been sick but would get everything taken care of. September 18, 2023 SOV/NOH, photos, and City Ordinances mailed via USPS certified Ruby Sept 21, return receipt for the October 10, 2023 Hearin.. Minton 2023. October 3, 2023 Code Officer Smith inspected the property; still non-compliant, several untagged/ disabled vehicles on the property, tent in the back of the property being used as a residence and overgrown grass and weeds needs to be cut, and trash debris on the property. Page 1 of 2 Exhibit 1 • To comply with City ordinances, the property owner needs to cut all the overgrown vegetation, remove, or tag the disabled vehicles, and remove all the trash and debris on the property. City Recommendation: The City recommends a fine of$150.00 per day, to begin 21 days after the date of the Special Magistrate Hearing on October 10, 2023, unless the property owner brings the property into compliance on or before that date, plus a $100.00 administrative fee.
