Date of Type of notice Received Date notice by received/returned January 10, Code Office Smith inspected the property still non-compliant 2023 January 12, SOV/NOH and photos mailed via USPS certified return receipt for 2023 the February 14th hearing January 20, Property owner Ms. Darlene Marshall came into the office in 2023 reference to the notice she received for the missed delivery of the certified letter sent on January 12, 2023. The SOV/NOH was hand delivered to Ms. Marshall and she signed a hand delivery receipt. Code Officer Curl also explained to Ms. Marshall what she needed to do to bring the property into compliance. January 26, Code Officer Smith inspected the property: still non-compliant 2023 January 30, Code Officer Smith was called by the son of the property owner 2023 who advised me that the property in compliance and ready for inspection. Code Officer Smith inspected the property, in compliance. Photos in file. Case closed. City Recommendation: The City recommends no action on this matter, but request it be noted for the record to have been in violation of Chapter 30, Sections 30-41 Disabled vehicles. Photos in file. I Code Officer Smith spoke with the son of the property owner, and I advised him what he needed to do to bring the property into compliance and how much time he had to make the corrections. Compliant called in by City Administrator Gary Ritter via text. December 15, 2022 Courtesy Card, copy of the ordinance, and photos mailed via regular mail, given 14-days to correct violations January 10, 2023 Code Officer Smith inspected the property: still non-compliant, some cars have been removed however many more remains. Photos in the file. January 12, 2023 SOV/NOH and photos mailed via USPS certified return receipt for the February 14th Hearing.
