VI. PUBLIC HEARING FOR ORDINANCE ADOPTION
A. Motion to read by title only and adopt proposed Ordinance No.1262 regarding Comprehensive Plan Future
Land Use Map Amendment Application No. 22-006-SSA, reclassifying from Public Facilities to Single
Family residential, 0.33+/- acres, Lots 6-7 of Block 5, ROYAL OAK ADDITION, Plat Book 1, Page 8,
Okeechobee County public records, and located at Southwest 3rd Avenue and 23rd Street submitted by the
City as the property owner (Exhibit 1).
B. Motion to read by title only and adopt proposed Ordinance No.1263 regarding Comprehensive Plan Future
Land Use Map Amendment Application No. 22-007-SSA, reclassifying from Single Family Residential to
Public Facilities, 0.65+/- acres, Lots 9-12 of Block 8, SOUTH OKEECHOBEE, Plat Book 1, Page 12,
Okeechobee County public records, and located at 1003 Southwest 3,d Avenue submitted by the City as
the property owner (Exhibit 2).
VII. NEW BUSINESS
A. Approval of request by Leadership Okeechobee Class of 2022 to place a visitor's sign at the Chamber
Building (Exhibit 3).
B. Presentation by Tammy Cook Weedon of Calvin, Giordano & Associates, Inc., regarding Veteran's Square
Concept and schedule for completion of the remainder of the conceptual plans for Flagler Park
(Exhibit 4).
C. Discussion of Fire Assessment options.
D. Discussion regarding parking surrounding Okeechobee Judicial Center and the County Courthouse.
