B. Call for a Referendum Question to be on the November 8, 2022, General City Election by Proclamation
(Exhibit 2).
V. CONSENT AGENDA
A. Approval of Minutes — June 7, 2022, June 21, 2022, and July 5, 2022 (Exhibit 3).
B. Approval of May 2022 Warrant Register (Exhibit 4).
VI. NEW BUSINESS
A. Motion to read by title only, approve the first reading, and set August 16, 2022 as the final public hearing
date for proposed Ordinance No. 1256 for Rezoning Petition No. 22-004-R submitted by Anita
Nunez/Anita's Rental Properties to rezone 2.41 +/- vacant unplatted acres from RS-1 to CHV located in the
1000 block on the East side of South Parrott Avenue (Exhibit 5).
B. Motion to approve a Park Use and Temporary Street Closing Application from Okeechobee Main Street,
closing SW 6th Avenue from 5:00 p.m. on August 5, 2022 to 2:00 p.m. on August 6, 2022, for the dedication
and unveiling of Cattle Drive Sculpture and Cattlemen's Square Park (Exhibit 6).
C. Motion to approve the 2022-2023 School Resource Officer Agreement for Okeechobee Christian Academy
(Exhibit 7).
D. Motion to approve renewal of a Memorandum of Understanding with Okeechobee County for the
administration of Traffic Control Preemption (Exhibit 8).
E. Discuss budget prioritization of Capital Projects.
F. Motion to approve the maximum millage rate for advertisement for 2022 Tax Notices, millage rate of 7.6018
for budget year 2022-2023 (Exhibit 9).

G. Motion to approve the budget calendar for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 setting remaining Workshops for August
2, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. and August 16, 2022 at 5:00 p.m., if needed; First Budget Hearing for September 6,
2022 at 6:00 p.m. with regular Council Meeting, and reschedule the regular Council Meeting to be held
September 20, 2022 to the same date as the Final Budget Hearing on September 26, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.
(Exhibit 10).
H. Conduct annual evaluation of City Administrator Gary Ritter.
