V. Dykes appeared again before the Council regarding the obnoxious
odor comin~ Markham's drainage ditch. After discussion, matter was referred
to Mayor ~. Also Mr. Dykes stated that the property south of his residence
was being as a dump and ~requested the city to take action prohibiting same.
Matter was.. to' Attorney Hendry for investigation.
The on SoUth Pa~k Street was discussed again, The Council advised
the C~e rk' to Leon Willis to make profile of the ~wo blocks involved.
' Ezell appeared ~efore the Council in regards to ~ivil Defense re-
questing that fire alarm be altered so that~ the alax~m could be used for a warning
signal. Matte referred to Fire Chief Godwin.
Wate Supt. Kinsaul reported on the surveys for water line .extension as
requested by · Council at the March 3 meeting. Approximately 3500 feet of 6 inch
pipe for ion from St. Rd. #70 N. on Meredith Ave. to Twelfth S~. and W. on
Twelfth St. to St. Rd. #441. - 200 feet of 1~ inch pipe for extension on Florida
Avenue for P. '. Evans. - 1850 feet of 4 inch pipe for extension to ~olored Town.
Wate~ Supt'. Ki', ~saul requested to get price on above material. Supt. Kinsaul also
reporto~ a ~e¢ A. Fulwider for water line extension to his property in.
"Taylor Creek requiring approximately 150 feet-of 1 inch pips. Also the nee~
~0 renew the line to page Tourist Camp ~equi~ing approximately 115 feet of 2
inch pipe. 'Ar, discussion Councilman Gardner moved to grant reques.t and make ex-
tensions to Evans and Page Tourist Camp, seconded by Councilman Watford
and carried.

plant. Matter deferred to next meeting.
