Mr. ,Wm. Griffis addressed the Council and stated that the. Florida Flood Oon-! - ,
trol Association had been organized for,th~ purpose of gathering data with refer-
ence to floo~ cont~ollegislation effecting Lake Okeechobee now pending in Oon-,
gress, and he requested Oouncil to appropriate $250.00 to help defray the expense
of this work.
Council man Raifsnider moved that Council appropriate $250.00, payaþle to

Klnutes of meetings held February 19th and February 25th, 1929 were read. and
approved.
)(r. lashburn appeared before Council in regard to laying water .main to hi s
residence.
On motion of Oounc1lman Raifsnider, seconded by aounc,ilman Berka, and dulYl
carried, Council agreed to furnish 100 ft. of ì inch pipe needed to lay water line < 1i
across lifth Avenue to Jlr. Mashburn's residence, provided he furnishes 150 feet of
pipe and pays the 'bappage fee.
Applioation of .N. ,0. stewart fQr position of pound master was received.
Councilman Raifsnider moved that Council appoint I. O. Stewaxt City Pound
